6 Ways to Stay Healthy as COVID-19 Restrictions Ease

Now that quarantine restrictions have started easing in localities around the nation, here are six ways you can protect yourself from COVID-19 as you go about your daily life in these new precarious circumstances.

  1. Keep Washing

Continue to wash your hands frequently with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds, especially if you've just been in public, handled food, or used the bathroom. Wash as well anytime after caring for a person who's sick or treating an injury, after blowing your nose, touching animals, throwing out trash or touching items in a public place.

  1. Wear a Mask in Public

Masks may not protect you from the coronavirus completely, but experts agree that they provide greater protection than wearing no mask at all. And remember, you're not just protecting yourself but those around you as well, as people could be carrying around the coronavirus without experiencing any symptoms whatsoever.

  1. Heed Local Guidelines

The easing of restrictions will differ from place to place, and not all businesses or public facilities in any location will likely open at once. Moreover, those places that do reopen may still have certain restrictions in place. Therefore, before you go anywhere you haven't been since the COVID-19 crisis hit, check to make sure that it's open when you plan to visit and that you are aware of any restrictions by which you must abide to be granted access.

  1. Maintain a Regular Sleep Schedule

Proper, regular sleep is essential for good health, and it can be easy to let your sleep schedule fall by the wayside when the rest of your schedule has been thrown into chaos. Therefore, while you're under a stay-at-home order, be sure to still maintain your regular sleep schedule. Likewise, once you resume more activities out in the world, like shopping and hanging out with friends, don't run the risk of overcompensating for the recent lockdown by partying the whole night away and depriving yourself of adequate sleep.

  1. Keep Your Home Clean

While you start spending more time out of the home again, don't forget to tend to the cleanliness of your home. A messy home filled with clutter and disorganization has been linked to high levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, and greater stress can put you at greater health risk.

  1. Take Supplements

All-natural, herbal health supplements like Lingdancao granules, Lian Hua Qing Wen, and Qing Fei Pai Du Tang can help support your respiratory system in preventing potential illness and alleviating  symptoms of an existing infection. Farlong Pharmaceutical provides each of these in its Lung Booster 1, Lung Booster 2, and Lung Detox supplements.
